Doctor Ted

In one of the funniest books for kids, a bear named Ted pronounces himself Doctor and goes on to misdiagnose everyone he meets.  Simple illustrations by Lemaitre add to the charm of Beaty’s book.

This is one of those truly rare books that can be enjoyed equally by a child and a grown-up.  It has rightfully become a children’s classic and the Wild Things that are a little scary looking aren’t really that scary afterall.
